Class #5: Nov 15th - Vocab | Quran notebook | making short sentences

Goal: practice as much as possible with new concepts (interrogative nouns, pointing nouns, basic form of verbs & "mubtada & khabr".  3 students were missing.  Please download and catch upas much as you can

Classwork Activity:
  1. We used alMadinah book to learn about Mubtada & Khabr.  download this sheet to understand this concept
  2. We learnt pointing and interrogative nouns to make simple sentences such as "This is for my rab".
  3. basic form of the verbs (from unit 3 - 3 letters pattern with all fathah)
  4. We reviewed first 7 numbers

We covered page 16 to practice Mubtada & Khabr

Quran Notebook
  1. We didn't review any of the suraat of Quran... coming saturday insha-Allah!
  2. We didn't start on the quran notebook because some students were missing.  coming saturday insha-Allah! 

Homework:
#1: Review the last 10 suraat, Surah Faatihah and first 7 verses of Surah Baqarah.  Look for following concepts.  You can either write it or review it in mind so when you are asked in the class, you can answer my questions
  • Stand-alone & Attached prepositions
  • All kind of nouns (including Separate & Attached Pronouns), pointing nouns,interrogative nouns
  • basic forms of the verbs
#2: Like last week, Review this vocabulary sheet and memorize the words under "Pointing", "Numbers" & "Interrogative pronouns" heading.  Be sure to memorize the arabic numbers.  You will be tested out on vocbulary in the class or on a phone conference call

#3: Finish these exercises for pointing & interrogative Nouns

#4: Please do not forget to bring your new Quran notebook as we will start on writing verses and apply grammar rules to start learning the sentence structure!
