Class #7: February 28th 2015
We caught up in four areas today so substitute teachers (Br Yaseen and Br Yousuf) can take over for next 3 weeks
- We worked on all male forms of verbs in past and present tense. We made several sentences. We used verbs "abada" and "taraka" to practice on Surah Kaafiroon and Surah Faatihah. Page 11 and 12 were of importance. We used the 3rd person plural forms from verbs to finish verb analysis in ayah 14 ad 3 of Surah baqarah
- We revisited the Quran notebook idea and finished verses 2 & 3, categories, word to word & eloquent translation. Students now know how to use the Quran notebook and everyone know how to write, how much space to leave and where to look for help
- We started on "Types of Nouns" and had some very important practice. Students used this knowledge to translate verses and also start on chapter 3 of reading book
Teachers will continue the work in next week
